Database is my biggest enemy. It is very easy for me to think of ideas but once I hit enemies, making them interesting that doesn't degrade to forgettable random encounters drives me nuts.

Hello! I need some help. Is there a script call where I can change an event's graphic to a specific index? For example, my character sheet looks like this: [0][1][2][3][4][5][6] [7][8][9][10][11][12] I want to call Frame #3 and have it displayed. How do I do it? EDIT: Found a Tutorial here...

I got the FSM pack and quickly remade the maps (I couldn't get over the RTP tiles being too blindingly bright). I still have 2 areas left.

I apologize for responding in PM rather than the forum. But here was my response :) I gave up on my game due to lack of time. I can probably finish it within a week but I can't say. I managed to make maps for it and gameplay base, but I don't know haha...

I am trying to join this but the problem with having a full time job is either being too tired to game make or having a strict schedule to make sure I get enough sleep to do work the next day. I think a month would've been ideal for a contest timeline. I will still try my best though!

No. I said Improving the UI. There's a so many ways that RPG Maker MV should have had evolved. Here's one example, event templates. Instead of restricting us to 4 quick events only, why not add a window where you can create your OWN Quick Create Templates? The Database could've been improved...

Asking why RPG Maker MV has not evolved from the Ace design considering how successful the last one was. That JP developer should've had tons of money to actually be braver on taking risks on improving the UI. Not playing it safe and move it to a new structure that sorely is incompatible.

You can use Alpaca or Medibang for free alternatives. Painttool SAI is cheap and has great vector tools.
