    Scaling Enemies

I'm not sure why it would encourage grinding? That assumes that there is a reward for the grind. If The enemies got easier after the grind, then the grind would be worth it. In this case, the enemies would be just as hard to defeat even after you grind out a couple levels. I think the...

I need help with the name of my game.

What do you think about: "Demonslayers" ?? I think with a name like this it projects the idea that the main characters are out to kill a demon. The why and how can be explained in the game play. I think if you take the "S" off the end, it would signify that only the main character is...

    Scaling Enemies

I had a thought and was wondering what other people's opinions were on the idea of scaling enemies, or other difficulties in the game based on the level of the player. I am not sure if it is possible in RMMV, but I have liked it in other games because it allows for the player to go anywhere in...

I need help with the name of my game.

Have you settled in on a name yet? A name can reel people in if it is impact-ful. I am curious what you settled on to describe your project?

    Crafting in your Game

I like the idea of making the items available in game, but making crafted items better. The wooden sword you buy has an attack of 10, whereas the Wooden sword you find in a dungeon has an attack of 11, and the wooden sword you craft has an attack of 12. I agree that gathering the ingredients...

RPG Maker My RMMV Demo Game

I want to share with the community my completed game. There is no title. I did not use any plugins. What the game does have is the ability for the player to choose from 3 playable characters, and dive into a dungeon crawler that has 6 distinct levels to explore. There are puzzles to be...

    Crafting in your Game

I agree. Documentation should be key in any game that introduces crafting to its players. I also like it to be intuitive enough that players can figure the requirements out some what, as well as the locations to acquire those resources. Like wood comes from trees.

    Crafting in your Game

I guess one avenue of balance could be the fast that the Iron sword from the vendor has an attack of 5, the Iron Sword from the dungeon has an attack of 6, and the Iron Sword crafted by the player will have an attack of 7. With this thought pattern, the player can start out buying his gear...

    Crafting in your Game

What are your feelings about implementing crafting in to your game? I like the idea and feel it adds to the game play. What about items in your game that are only acquired by crafting? I like this idea some, but players who dislike crafting won’t do it and could miss out on getting that...

    Game Over in stealth-puzzle game

I would like to suggest check points in the game. After I solve 1, 3, or even 5 puzzles. Set a check point. When I am spotted and lose 1 HP I go back to the last check point. If I run out of HP all together, send me back to the start and reset all puzzles. If you want to send the player...
