Hi everyone! I just got RPG Maker and I noticed this seems like a very helpful community, so I decided to join in. I hope to one day be able to contribute to the RPG Maker community, once I learned all the basics.

If it's not too much trouble, I would like to use the opportunity to ask a couple of newbie questions.

1) How can I set up an inn system? I got the shops covered, but I'm somewhat confused as to how I should do the inn system like the old school games. I tried a branching path but I'm not exactly sure if it's gonna work.

2) Is there some way to have the equipment reflect changes in the sprites? I did something similar by attaching an event to a wardrobe, but I would like to know if there's a way to do it by just equipping/unequipping gear.

There's something else I wanted to ask, but right now I can't remember what it was. Anyway, thanks in advance!

Hi @DrGrimReaper , and welcome to the forum. (I helped out a little by merging those two post.) If you do not get many responses to your questions hear, you might get a better response in the MV Support area. What do you like the most so far about RPG Maker MV?

Thanks! So far, I really like the accessibility that most of the features have. The system itself can be quite complex, but so far it seems like you can learn most of the complex stuff with practice. I have little experience and yet, I been able to make towns (although I need to learn how to use height, since my towns are currently flat) , shops and even a little dungeon.

I also like that it seems to be very flexible, letting you customize just about everything, something I hope to do once I understand everything.
