I am looking for some help with my water in game. I didn't have any dark water tiles in my game, so I made my own. The dark water had shadow over it, but only think is with that. The boats and ships can't move in the water. Can someone tell me how to fix this or where I can get darker water tiles. So my water looks deeper.

Did you check the passabilty in the database ? It might be the problem. Or you make the ships and co to be able to move everywhere but place invisible eventson the land parts so they can't gonon the land.

I often do this with custom images for terrain. I also sometimes create invisible impassable and passable terrain if I do not want to use to many events.

A little trick is in Database for Tilesets, Outside Category, where it says D, put an Outside B tileset. On the top upper left most square, seen in passability, change the star to a circle. When you are editing, in mapping mode, select the 'D' tileset tab, and press that blank space, on the top most left. Wherever you press on your map, your ships will be able to move.

I want to sea water to look deep and it does, but you can't move a ship on it. The can take a boat/ship over the light water. Guess its the shodow on it, might have to figure something else.

The Terrain Tag, not the passabilty. It is the bottom most feature on the right side of the tileset. It is below Damage Floor.

It works on almost all of my custom maps. Have you tried this yet?
