To whom it may concern I would like to have some assistances. I've been working on a game for almost a month and it's not nearly finished at the moment. When I tried to open my project, it say that it's unable to load my project. I went my files to see if anything has been deleted but everything that I have done is still there. Then I tried on the html version and the screen said " Fail data/Actors/json". If there is someone that is able to help me then I would please. I would like to know what's has happen to my game and I hope that I don't to start all over again because this is second time that I have to remake this game. Thank for whoever read this.

Hollow

It seems either the Actors.json is missing or it's corrupted, if you don't have a backup I'm afraid you may be at a loss here but not a huge one, hopefully. If you don't have a backup of your project, what you can do is create a new project and copy the Actors.json from /data/ folder and paste it in your current project. Let me know if that works for you and hopefully the Actors.json was the only thing corrupted/missing.

**Also be sure to backup the corrupted Actors.json if it is there, it may be okay and there may be a deeper issue here.

Thank you for the help. Yes you are correct about the Actor.json being corrupted however the project isn't able to load the project. I might have to restart again. May I ask how do you make a backup project so this case won't able again.

P.S I'm still new to the program and I'm still trying to figure what I need to do to improve my game and what am I going to achieve by making my game and also the coding.

Have you tried my possible solution from my earlier post? Create a new project and copy the Actors.json from the new project over to your current project? This may be all you need to open your current project, you will just have to create your actors over again.

That being said backing up a project is as easy as copying the project folder and pasting elsewhere on your computer, I always recommend to people to get a google drive account(if you don't already) and make a regular backup on there. You will always have it there so if anything happens to your computer, you will always have a project safe and sound. If you need further help with that let me know.

You'll get the hang of it, it may take a month or two but soon enough you'll be pretty comfortable with everything you see in RPG Maker.

I managed to copy the data to a different project. Thank you very much. Also thanks for the suggestion about making google drive account.
