Small site quirk.

So.....

You know on the home page..


When you click on one you haven't clicked on before...


You end up at the bottom of the topic.
Now for me if i'm browsing the forums this isn't ideal, I prefer to land at the top and make my way down.

Just thought i'd bring this quirk to your attention and see what other people think of it.

The reason this happens is because you're clicking on the latest post in that topic, so it takes you to the latest unread post on that topic. Changing this would be more annoying for users if they've already been to that post before, and then have to scroll to the very end. Regardless you're hurting one side or the other. Those who've viewed the topic prior, and those who haven't. I'm going to go ahead and keep it how it is currently, sorry. I thank you for taking the time however, to post your opinion on the site, and give us your feedback.

How about it takes you to the last post you haven't viewed? So if you've never been on it, you end up at the top and otherwhise you pick up where you left off (This is how RMW and VXAce.net handle it iirc)

I'm not begging you to change it or anything, do what you feel is best ;)

I'll look into this, as it is a good idea the way you made it sound. I'm unsure if Xenforo supports this type of thing or not. I cannot make you any promises, but it is something I'll look into.
