    An Intro.

@T. Petrichor ... We're way beyond the realm of 'Introductions...' here; it may be preferable to open a new thread in the MV Support section; you'll attract more responses on the subject, I'm sure. If you're just starting out, may I suggest whilst I'm here that a basic use of Switches...

Name one thing that you added to your MV Project today

@Sinnistar ... So much better in context, an excellent result. Well done.

    Test if player stuck ?

@Thomas Cyrix ... No one-liner that can think of that will check in all directions, but, for each direction, make the Player move, then check with '$gamePlayer.isMovementSucceeded() ' to see if the move succeeded. Repeat for the 4 directions. If there are 4 'false' returns, then the Player...

    Hello world!!

Good evening, @Laumil , and ... ... Plenty to read and amuse you here, and lots to learn and share.

    Hello there

Good afternoon, @Thomas Cyrix , and ... ... Plenty to read and amuse you here, and lots to learn and share. I like the notion of 'little and fun games'; we don't see that often enough, in my view.

    Newbie at RPGMaker

Good morning, @KaosChrysor21 , and ... ... Plenty to read and amuse you here, and lots to learn and share. As has been mentioned, plenty of help available if you need it. Looking forward to following progress on your Project.

Name one thing that you added to your MV Project today

Ah, I see it now. There's a visual effect, similar to the 'one black candlestick or two white faces', where this has an ambiguous appearance. It looks, to me, at first glace, to be a bowed wall, ie: vertical. Now that you mention it, I can force myself to see an arched roof, horizontal. The...

    Zebestian's Music Box

@Kaimen ... I've not listened to 'em all (there's a lot of 'em..!), but enjoyed all the pieces on this page. It's what I call 'Goldilocks', which means it's neither too rich nor too sparse, but 'just right' (yes, that's a compliment...). Obviously the BGM has to fit the ambience of the Game for...

    Happy Birthday Forums!!! :D

Aw, shucks; you remembered..! And me not dressed yet..! No, no photos, please.

    Enemy Balancing

The only 'method' I use is by playing the Game, over and over. I'm rather in the minimalist camp (one could read that as 'lazy',and that's fine...); I'm not overly worried about having things 'exact'. My Enemies are rather the standard ones (Slime, Bat etc...); it's only really the Mini-Bosses...

    Help me please

@crackerwood ... It's certainly possible, but my understanding of js is too poor to actually do the job. Could you explain what, exactly, is the purpose of this, in ordinary words..? Explain in French, if you wish, and give a Google translation into English, and we'll see what can be done. Over...

    Adv Shadows

@darkelitegames ... To be more precise, the Shadows, in totality, is exactly half a Tileset. It can be combines with any other B-E Tileset by sacrificing some of the Tiles already there, using adequate graphics software such as Photoshop or Gimp. One does not have to use all of the Tiles...

    HELLO!

Good morning, @GandalftheCat , and ... ... Plenty to read and amuse you here, and lots to learn and share. No need to economise when writing your Introduction (and, worse still, less than 3 words counts as 'Spam' to our System, so you risk deletion..! Maybe the Rules linked-to below need...

Good evening, @T. Petrichor , and ... ... Plenty to read and amuse you here, and lots to learn and share. Go ahead with the easy questions, they're the ones I may stand a chance of being able to answer..!
