    Time Engine

I'll see about a Time Engine for this forum, so that your update can be made available last week.

    Hi

Good evening, @Esz , and ... ... Plenty to read and amuse you here, and lots to learn and share. There are more than a few French folks or French-speaking here, so you're not alone ; I'm in France, myself (Lower Normandy...), and Google is, indeed, your friend..!

Display a 20x20 Map in all in one Window, without scrolling..?

Maybe easy, maybe impossible; I'll ask anyway. I've a mini-Game (a primitive Board Game, looking a bit like a Monopoly board...) which I'd like to display on screen all at once, so as to see all of the board. It's just a square Map, 20 x 20 Tiles, with nothing special going on. Presently, it...

    Time Engine

Yes, that's what I did at first, and collected nothing (just '0' in the \v[1]...). I also tried using my own variables (we should be able to, I assume..?) and collected only '0' in my Variable \v[12]. I'll await update and try again. (Oh, it's getting close. It's all going to come together soon...

Alas, no. I've very little experience with JavaScript (although a fair knowledge of many other IT languages...). For the moment, I'm learning how to do without code, using the native Events as much as possible, but I've come across some very useful little 'snippets' that I've adopted. I am...

    Time Engine

@LTN Games ... Thanks for the informative update; that's very useful. Just a comment in passing..? These instructions are not in the Help file; they are, however, in the js code of the plug-in itself. No big deal, but not so easy to consult as in the Help file. Could I also clarify, whilst I'm...

Tales of the Lumminai Demo - Windows and Mac

Haha..! This is where it's beneficial to read through the whole post..! The Game (or Demo...) is still in development, and the 'boy' route' is not yet active..! How did I find that out..? Don't ask..! This has been mentioned above, but it's true that the indication in the Game (NA...) is not...

Music I want to collect your ideas

@Mr.Gaming ... Well, if 'drummer' counts as musician, I suppose I am..! Basically, I'm rather more 'old', which gives me a longer telescope to look through at stuff..! Listen, then, to your violin teacher, who seems to be leading you up the right track. Looking forward to hearing more of your...

Music I want to collect your ideas

@Mr.Gaming ... A very worthy composition, well executed, well mixed, and entirely in keeping with the 'Battle' theme. One or two remarks, if you would (not criticism; there's nothing wrong with the piece 'as is'...)..? For a piece of this length, I'd have chosen to alleviate the insistant...

    Just a bit about myself.

Good afternoon, @fflord , and ... ... Plenty to read and amuse you here, and lots to learn and share. You've the right approach, I'd say. Read up about it first, and you'll soon be replying to others, helping them with your new knowledge.

Name one thing that you added to your MV Project today

Not so much on my on-going Demo (although it's really a full Game, now, so I'll try to stop calling it a Demo...). I did a few 'one-off', throw-away Projects to try out a few specific points, such as how to change from a Vehicle to a Map and back again, or how to leave a Map from any border...

    Undefined is not a function...

You're right to not over-write the 'plugins' stuff, but the index.html should be copied over, when updating. The old, original, one won't work properly with the updated js stuff. All of the new js folder contents should be copied over, including the 'plugins' folder contents and 'libs' folder...

All BGM files will loop, automatically, back to the beginning once the end is reached. This is not always what is required, musically. It is possible to insert metadata into the BGM files such that the loop will be triggered at any point, not just the end, and loop back to any previous point...

Could use some criticism on a soundtrack

@Skyrocker ... Nothing to be embarrassed about; that's good stuff for the genre, more especially for a first go. It would certainly fit in very well as a Battle theme for many Games. My only reticence would be the intensity, if there are battles occurring often; it could become wearing. For my...
