Have you tried Google Docs. I've had very few problems there. The rest, yep, for sure! I hear ya! Haha! In between Otherworld and Gaia's Dream, I think my brain is on the brink of overload. It mostly has to do with graphics too.

I'd recommend the Soul's Dynamic Weather System plugin. It has a number of cool flourishes that makes it stand out. A nice alternative is the Orange Weather plugin.

Balancing this is quite tricky. I found this rough guide in my bookmarks. It's for VXA but still applies and gives an idea for balancing things out.

I voted for @LTN Games only because of the amount that was achieved in such a short amount of time. Not only was it atmospheric and unique, the controls were customised as well, with some flourishing touches like the flashlight slowly running out of juice.
