Press F1 when you open up MV and that is all the offical documentation available. If you scroll to the bototm you will see a JS Library section which contains many of the functions available, with short descriptions(not very good ones) but it should be enough to get you started. The other option is to go through the core scripts and figure out whats what. You can also check the MV Script call list, just do a quick forum search and you should find it here.

But no, the code is not good documented.
