A topic to sharing personal websites?

For smaller communities it might not be too much of an issue but for larger communities I never really know whether someone's making resources and putting it on their website or on the forums.

And even then, if I don't check a particular section of the forums, I may never know about it.
On forums it is common to ask users to post them in a signature, but if someone doesn't post often, or doesn't post in places I visit, I would never see their signature.

What are your thoughts on having a topic dedicated to people sharing links to where they usually host their work? For example, they might post their

- blogs
- twitter/facebook/tumblr/etc
- soundcloud
- deviantart maybe
- etc

I believe we can have it in both ways, having a signature banner for the links, as well as having a specific section like blog section in the forum (if possible). It sounds teddious a little bit, but it might help, if not very successful.

Eventually I'll have a link to my web site ( http://foxfirestudios.net ) in my signature as well. Since that's where most of my content will be placed in.

ah, there's the Edit Button. That'll keep me from doing that dreadful Double Post.

For their work, and downloads if they add it to the resource section, they can either host the download on our site resource, or have the download button link to their personal site. So, if you're actively looking at the resource section, you should always know based on that IMO.
