SO ... for a while I've been working on a sequel to my first ever game created Bluey the Circle. It's a Sonic-like platformer that took me like 5-6 years to finish (I finished it by February of last year) and ever since then, people have given some very helpful criticism about it. So since March of last year, I've been working on the aforementioned sequel. It features Bluey (the dude on my pfp) and his fellow sidekick/friend Bolty:

trying to stop Cube lord (the antagonist and villain of the series who has a golden jeweled crown and has dark cube patches for his eyes) from launching the Death Cube into outer space to conquer the universe! So, it's kind of like Sonic 2, except with a twist! I rather show the level names in a bit but basically, I do already have like 40% of the game completed. The game has some VHS filters and sound effects, and OST in the works, and also has a certain system. LE UNLOCKABELS! so, around every act (3 acts per zone) are some statues or relics you find from exploring the levels or just going high up. These statues either say "___ now available" or "___ unlocked!" after being touched and exiting the game and checking the Unlockables page in the Extras menu you'll find what it unlocks (from simple custom or past character sprites to full on game modes with fully renewed levels) The premise is to find these to unlock certain things, the more valuable, the harder it becomes to find them. The game started development on a site called Khan Academy but is now having a dual release (outside KA and in KA) so my question is just really for ideas and stuff, I'll post videos on my YT channel about certain gimmicks and all of that.
