Hi there everyone

I used to spend so much time on RpgMaker2003...I can safely say it's been years of my life.
I recently, out of curiosity, started browsing rpgmaking software again and ended up downloading the trial of MV.

I have so many questions. Such as: do I have to expect something completely different from rm2003? Also, since my only goal at the moment is to re-make my old 2k3 game with the new software, is it going to be real pain? (such as: is there anything I can at least copy-paste from there to here, such as dialogue, event, maps..?)

Will search in the forums as well.
For now: ciao! :)

Hey xD
It depends, do you know ace, vx or xp? It kinda is like vx ace but "easier". You have built-in overlay mapping, easy acces and configuration opportunity for scripts, eventing is easy and "ordered". I think copying and pasting will be alot of work, still. And I hope you'll be okay with the general RTP style for mv xD Anyways welcome to the forums and hope to see you around. Greetings from Germany :D

Hi @WereWorld , and welcome to the community. Images will have to be altered or renamed to fit with MV, with some images. Even if you have to do a lot from scratch, I personally think it is worth it. The deployment options are awesome. Looking forward to seeing you around.
