Hi everyone!
My name is Harry and I am a wannabe Game Designer. Let me give you a little back story, I am 25 and have a BA (Hons) Degree in Television Production and I studied 2 years of Game Design before I ran out of money.
In both degrees the narrative design was always the most enjoyable part for me and I was (and still am) writing scripts for short films and television pilots etc, and I think that writing for games is what I would love to do for a career. But, I am very aware that I need more than just writing to have a chance of getting in to the industry.
Because of my lack of games experience I have made a plan of action, I am going to create a collection of short playable stories in RPG Maker to demonstrate my knowledge of storytelling and also my small amount of knowledge regarding the game development process, which isn't the worst, but it could be better.
I hope you guys will help me along the way when I inevitably get stuck and I would love some volunteers to bounce ideas off of and maybe even collaborate on a few projects, and maybe I'll be able to help you with my narrative design knowledge and even if you need any motion graphics produced such as text and titles for your ideas.
