I had some irritations moving my stuff over from ACE, especially file types. OGV, MP3, and WAV don't seem to work anymore, so I'm having to convert a lot of stuff over.
Also the new sprites are VERY limited and ACE sprites don't transfer very well (too small).
It's definitely not as smooth as a transition as VX to ACE was, bit I can deal with it. So far, the ease of plugins (which I rarely use) and higher resolution (which I don't use) are the only improvements I'm noticing. I do love the mouse move and click to move features, but most of that is just borrowed ideas from ACE the scripters haha. The new RTP music is pretty nice too.
