Hi - Please help me propose to my future wife

Hey!

I'm Mike, nice to meet you.

My goal is to create an RPG telling the story of how my girlfriend moved from Japan to the UK. How we met and eventually ending with an in-game but very real marriage proposal.

She loves the Dragon Quest franchise and I know if I can create an RPG she will play it.

Whatcha think of my idea and please let me know if you can support me with any questions I may have.

I downloaded the RPGMaker MV today and have already made my way through some tutorials by a gentleman called RPGDon on Youtube. I think it will be quiet straight forward to complete my story.

My end goal is to transfer this to an Android app she can install and play on her phone.

I recall a story about a guy doing this with Ace, to a lesser degree, and his girlfriend absolutely loved it. It's a great way to propose to someone who enjoys gaming, and the fact that you're making it a story about her gives is a nice twist. Like @Jay said, we have plenty of talented members who would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for your warm welcome and encouragement.

While I'm not completely new to making games this is the first RPGMaker MV project. I hope to finish my game in 2 months.

I've made a couple of maps and I'm half way through setting up the files to enable port to Android. The SDK files are really large eh!
My first impression was that you could press an export to Android button :) haha life teaches me again; things are not so simple :)
