I punched in the numbers 4,14,1,0,false as per VE_BattleGraphicSetup help, and video, and ended up with this guy bouncing back and forth... I tried all kinds of things, I even plugged in a default battler with the appropriate settings and he worked just fine... but when I try a Holder's, I get this! One thing Holder and I agree on for sure is the default battlers are kind of... ahem... In the long run, I want to make my own, but was thinking of using Holder's as a template. Please assist.
Also are there other plug ins that handle custom animated battlers yet?
EDIT: Dr. Yami's plug in "TEST-Side View Battler Enhancement" worked like a charm. The whole issue is the frame size. In Yami's you can set the frame size to anything. Victor seems to only be using the standard 64x64 with no way that I could find to change that. I resized the Holder battler to a frame size of 128x128 (a total file dimension of 512x792 if you are interested) at this size they look good in MV. I set up everything in Yami's plug in and "BOOM" there it was. That was that. The only issue I have found is that you can't control the speed of non-looping animations. Otherwise it feels much easier to set up than VE's version. I'm really enjoying it, but I need to be able to change the speed of the attack animation, I truly feel that holder sprites would look better with faster attacks. Guess I will have to wait for an update. I may develop a tutorial for using Holder's with Yami's... Yes, I think I will do that.
