Ladies and gents, my name is Seraphic_Realm and I have a large project to work on. right now I'm using my monster trainer rpg project to build experience and to learn how to program and code.

The project is called Quest For Spheria and its supposed to be similar to pokemon, digimon and minecraft to some extent. I am going on my fourth year on this project. first two years were mostly research and brain storming with on and off tweaking on the side.

Here is the idea
1. like pokemon we have the 1v1 turned based combat system, where it should be different is how the battles operate. using defence is for when you need to swap monsters, use an item or run away. ALL fights in the game can be escaped from.<---this is an important thing in my combat system. also players choose what happens afterwards to the opponent with three choices. these choices have subtle consequences that either make the game fun and relaxing or really hard.

2.the main them of the game revolves around growth and investing time and resource to forge ahead. non starting zones have to be liberated. and those fights are no joke.

3 another feature is the extensive crafting system and limited storage, learning a skill isn't enough to gather resources players have to practice the skill for a time before "learning" the first rank!

4 customizable character, sibling and parents, with a customizable background.

5 reputation system that works in tandem with player actions defining the morals of the player.

6 law enforcement npcs that will punish the player if the player does some bad things that break the law.

7 alternate ways to recruit and impress Spheria (the pokemon analogs in my game).

8.A modular map engine for a world map though still in the works

9. An ingame map editor and eventually a custom music generator.

These are the main featurs in my project.

People I need on a project like this.
coders(I am learning how to code with this game)
Graphic artists like spriters and tileset makers.
Music artist( I have 3 people who want to jump into it)
Animators
that's pretty much it..

Hopefully people will find an interest in this project to help me see it to fruition. I want to make competition with gamefreak's legacy of the pokemon franchise.

besides being skilled in one of the above positions having enough passion and drive to complete the demo. would be greatly appreciated. I want to make an f2p game with intelligent micro-transactions.

telling me about yourself, your skills and desired position, not to mention flaws <-- Those are very important for a team to work well I have flaws too... the flaws should be related as in a work place flaw you might have or personality quirk that might influence teamwork...

ON that note, I am a slightly short fused person with attention deficit issues and dyslexia, my brain doesn't work quite right so sometimes I am liable to be a little whimsical or cautious. I do work very well in teams which is why I need a team with me. I have managed a few large teams (by large I mean like 10 people and up) but smaller teams aren't hard for me to give a good direction for the team to focus on.

I will try to get everyone to get along passively, I tend to be nice most of the time minus the times where I have to put my foot down.

lastly since this is a big project we have to understand I want to keep as close to my vision of the game as possible. So I would like our discussions to remain civil. I have had people storming out on me because of clashing ideals, and lost teammates either to them loosing patience or their interest just burning out.
