It's not typically in my nature to nag, but I figure a reminder of this was in order.

We had a poll, the poll was nearly entirely unanimous in the 'disable auto-smiley embedding' field, yet nothing has been done about it and it's been almost two months now.

I understand it's Christmas and that fellas are busy, so it's not my place to demand anything, would just like to remind the best and brightest here of it, since I know you guys wouldn't be postponing it without good reason.

You're right, I remembered the smiles the other day when I was making a message and my message got interrupted with smileys lol. I do remember us voting for disabling the auto insertion as well. This should be done soon, I'll tag @Xyphien for a quick reminder. Thanks for bringing this o our attention @Bizarre Monkey.
