It doesn't ever reset. So if I'm the last poster in a thread, and i want to bump it with more art or whatever, I would have to ask one of my friends to post just so that people may know the thread has something new.

Dude... can you read minds? I was just checking the artistic area and saw that my music thread was hella low on the list there although I've been updating it. People won't know that I did that unless I specifically state it in a status or if I make an update in the resource section. Kinda bugs me since my works are sinking into the depths of the forums. :D

hmmm interesting, good to know, I had no clue. Yea it would be decent to still be able to update/bump our posts every 72hours and know it will get some attention.

Isn't there a possibility to have the merging depend on the time passed between the first post and the double post? A new post would bump the thread, right? If a certain amount of time has passed, instead of merging we could just have a new post. That would be especially helpful for art and music threads. :)

Yea I totally agree and I sure hope that it is this simple. @Xyphien will see this shortly and let us know some details about the situation, until then if you have a post that you need updated shoot me a PM and I will see what I can do.

Edit: A better idea, report the post and the mods will get around to it :D

When you post a double post and it murges your post into the last one it still bumps your page. So, after 24 hours you can double post to bump your post. It still brings your post up to the very top, the only thing it does is saves the forum unneeded extra posts from the same guy 3498234 times :)

I hope this answers your query. If not, please tell me otherwise and I'll be more than happy to look into it once again.
