This topic in RMW triggered my alarm:
Plugins from Scripters are being sold without their consent in this site!
And the below link is the mentioned site:
http://iloverpg.tk/

I know it's not good to cite a topic in RMW here, but I want to make sure that:
- All the resource makers as victims are aware of this scam
- All of you here will never fall into this scam
And I think it's really important, even though those having heard of Victor Sant, one of the victims, will immediately know it's a scam :)

To prevent being a victim by buying resources with are actually free via those fraudulent sites, I'd suggest you to search their terms of use before purchasing.
If a site ask you to buy a resource without letting you to read its terms of use beforehand, you should have strong enough evidences and reasons to suspect that it's a scam :D

P.S.: As far as I know, the below resource makers are some of the known victims there:
- DoubleX
- Soulpour 777
- Victor Sant
There are also some tilesets and enemies graphics being utilizes by those liars, but I don't know the names of those resource makers as victims lol

What steps could people even take to get their work off of there? Seems like it would be big legal hassle. Hopefully the victims can do something about it.

I'm going to pin this to the top for a little while so members can become aware of what some people do to their resources. It's good to share and try and reach as many people as we can so this type of issue can be managed quickly. Thank you for sharing.
[doublepost=1454512383,1454457603][/doublepost]Hey guys, @eivl directed me to another website sharing illegally without permission, as well as sharing cracked version of the editor.
They even have my Window Pop plugin, without permission, and the terms clearly state no sharing without permission from me.

I actually snipped the link out considering it has links to cracked software.

I don't get why people would do this. I generally can't understand why people think they can earn money for (actually) doing nothing ?? Guys, the world doesn't run like this. Thanks @LTN Games and @DoubleX for sharing this valuable information. Is there any way to stop or even sue these persons who sell the resources?

I think the best line of defence is sharing, and letting RMWeb know right away. The more people know about the sites sharing illegally the quicker they get taken down. The legal side of it all is something I don't ever want to get involved in but letting RMWeb know about it, they can act quickly and they usually do, but sometimes legal action can be useless because it takes a lot of money and time, so it's usually a notice of removal, and if it don't happen the site gets shut down asap. Stopping the creator from creating another website can seem impossible sometimes, which is why I say sharing and letting others know asap is the best line of defence.

I've checked that RMW topic again and now at least 1 RMW staff knows this.
However, he/she said that scam site's removing some RM works from their site. I've checked that scam site and he/she's right on this.
He/she states that it'd be easier for them to take that site down without them noticing. I feel/think he/she can be right on this one too.
Nevertheless, I still think we need to spread the word - perhaps not about any specific scam, but rather resource scamming in general.
So instead of informing RMMV users about this particular scam, we'll just try to educate them how to avoid such scams.
This can be as simple as asking all RMMV communities to pin some topics talking about some common sense in using RMMV resources.
