Wide screen assistance

My apologies ahead of time if this is the incorrect location to post this question nevertheless I am new to the site as well as the software of MV. I was wondering how I can make my game wide screen? Ive tried googling it with no success. Any and all assistance would be greatly appreciated. If this post is in the wrong location please relocate it so that I do not double post. Thanks in advance.

You can download Yanfly's Core plugin, or you can download his Screen Resolution plugin, either way both will accomplish what you're looking to do. The core engine changes a few other things in the game, and the screen resolution changes only the resolution of the game.

Once you download the plugin, put the .js file into your projects js/plugin folder, then open MV click the Plugin manager button and double click or right click inside the manager to add a new plugin. When selecting the plugin a list of option will appear, find the resolution options and change them accordingly.
