Neat! I can see where this would add some dimension to the game. The BGM could technically be determined (manually) according to certain areas or to reflect "dangerous" maps.

Once upon a time, there was a troll named Tryggr. He was just an ordinary troll, who liked to watch the birds and listen to the sounds they make... Erm, that doesn't sound right at all, but that was still CTRL+X'd and in clipboard from yesterday's attempt on writing The Adventures of Tryggr story.

I often feel the same, mainly because of my work schedule. I work nights and often my shifts are scattered, so I wouldn't have the proper time to invest. That's the main reason I maintain my blogs; don't make a great deal of money, but do get a check roughly every two months.

Agreed. It's funny how, even though it's been a long time since I programmed in JS, it kinda all comes back. Like riding a bike. Once you learn how, you never really forget it. ;)

I like this idea. I've never really been able to fully wrap my head around notetags (notably in VXA), since to me RegEx is like a soup with random ingredients thrown into it. Looking forward to see how others' are structured so that maybe I can (finally) "get" them. Haha!

This is definitely a good tutorial. For beginners and experts too. I'm no expert, but know Javascript and this has actually helped me with the correlations between JS itself and the way JGSS has kind of been structured around it.
