Yes, you're able to choose to accept donations or not on a resource to resource basis. One resource you can choose to accept donations, another you can choose not too. I've added this, you can now see it displayed on the navigation. Sadly, account upgrades don't count towards the upgrade page...

All donations go to me. They are used entirely on the forum, this means for updates, addons, events, prizes, promotion, SEO, and of course keeping the site up and running.
