The entire party window? Faces, & gauges, or just the window itself and keep the gauges & faces intact? If you only want to hide the window, and keep the actors information it's rather simple. Add this code in a js file then add to your plugins, and it will hide the window, but keep actors...

Do you want them to fight in battles or only follow you? A solution could be just adding an actor in the database and temporally adding them to party.

Just keep at it, you will never learn from your mistakes if you don't make any. I also created a topic when I first signed up here about mapping tips and tricks. In real life and espically in nature things don't line up in rows or grid like patterns only cities and man made shit does that. Also...
